Motion pictures and still pictures recorded with this unit can be viewed on TV.

For TV settings, see the operating instructions of the TV.

Connect the unit and AC adaptor (P.14) and set the mode dial to [ ] or [ ].

Connect the unit and TV with the AV cable (supplied).

If your TV is not equipped with

AV Input Sockets, the 21-pin

Adaptor (optional) is necessary.

Consult your dealer.

Insert the plugs as far as they will go.

Change the input mode on the TV.

Play back motion pictures or still pictures from the unit. (P.46, 49)

To display LCD monitor information on TV

→[SETUP]→[EXT. DISPLAY]→[ON]

• To not display the date, time and icons (P.22, 26)

● Do not use any other AV cables except the supplied one.

● If images or audio are not output, check the following:

• That the plugs on the AV cable are inserted into terminal as far as they can

• That the plugs on the AV cable are connected to the correct terminals

• That input settings and the selected input channel of the TV are correct

● If pictures are not displayed correctly on a wide-screen TV, adjust the display

settings of the TV.

● If the image stretched in the vertical direction on TVs of a 4:3 aspect ratio

→[SETUP]→[TV ASPECT]→[4:3]
